We started with a good climb out of Drumnadrochit, through the woods and across the hills, completing today’s walk in 7 hours in the centre of Inverness.

Wonderful birdlife around the woods and moorland including flycatchers, lapwing, chaffinch, skylarks, pied wagtails and chiffchaff. Again so lucky with the weather after yesterday’s storm – we were gently warmed by the sun and a cool breeze during the climbs was very welcome.
